At FBC, our deacons, both men and women, serve by following the example of Jesus Christ. Each family in our church has a deacon who prays for and cares for them, and together we serve through different ministry teams. Just like in Acts 6:1–7, where the early church chose deacons to help meet people’s needs so the apostles could focus on prayer and teaching, our deacons work side by side with church members to make sure everyone is prayed for, cared for and supported.
